Response to State of the State Last week, Gov. Rhoden delivered his State of the State address. While he did lay out some priorities that Democrats agree with, the Governor also spread misinformation and ignored the affordability crisis. Rhoden also wants to continue Operation Prairie Thunder despite opposition to ICE raids here in South Dakota and across the country.   The Joint Democratic Caucus released their response to the State of the State and laid out their plans to actually tackle real problems in South Dakota.   Honoring 250 Years Means Telling the Whole Story Last week, Rep. Kadyn Wittman's  House Resolution 7001  to honor America's 250th anniversary was amended, removing acknowledgments to the role Tribal Nations and civil rights advocates have had on our country. Rep.   One Year of Trump's Disastrous Presidency Tuesday marks one year since Donald Trump started his second term. In that time, Trump and his incompetent administration have tanked our economy, raised healthcare prices and increased job cuts. So ask yourself, are you better off than you were a year ago?
